New partnership with Duke Point Transload Ltd.

Petroglyph Development Group & Duke Point Transload LTD. (DPTL) announce new partnership, with PDG acquiring a significant interest in the latter. The partnership came into effect November 1, 2022 and creates new opportunities for DPTL to expand within the marine transportation industry.

“Our strategic partnership with PDG and Snuneymuxw First Nation is a significant milestone on our journey towards cementing our place as Vancouver Island’s leading shipping and exporting solution provider,” says Guy Carpentier, president DPTL. “We are honored to work alongside Snuneymuxw within their sacred unceded territory.”

DPTL has been operating on Snuneymuxw Territory at Duke Point since 2012 and the new partnership with PDG and SFN positions the organization for growth.

“As the business grows so too will the need for Snuneymuxw marine and ground transportation talent,” says Ian Simpson, CEO, Petroglyph Development Group. “Our partnership with DPTL creates opportunities for more ongoing, good paying industry jobs. It also further restores vital access to the economic marine activity within our territory. We look forward to the path ahead with our valued DPTL partners.”
