Statement - Former Howard Johnson Site Fire

At approximately 3:30 a.m., the local fire department responded to a deliberately set fire at one of the wood debris piles adjacent to the terminal. Our on-site team immediately assisted firefighters by using an excavator to separate the debris and help extinguish the flames. The fire department remained on-site until 5:20 a.m. to ensure the situation was fully under control.

Fortunately, no structures—either on-site or off-site—were affected by the fire. We are grateful for the swift and dedicated efforts of both the fire crew and our team in responding to the incident and working together to restore safety at the site.

We will continue to monitor the site and maintain safety as a top priority.
